The Divecenter get an invitation from the gouverment of Fuerteventura to visit a project which works for some years to get more turtles back to Fuerteventura,because just few of them surveived here.
The inital idea was to bring a few thousands of turtle eggs from the capverdi islands to Fuerteventura breed them out under safe conditions a hold them another year to grow and get better chances to surveive in the open ocean.
Finaly 40 of them where chiped and let free at the beach of cofete at the westcoast,and hopefully they come back in a coupple of years to bring there eggs back and may we get a bigger population of turtles here.
